Your stay with us
The Fachklinik Bad Wiessee is a renowned rehabilitation clinic specialised in the rehabilitation of hands after an accident, operation or chronic illness. Patients form all over Germany and abroad have complimented us on our competence as well as our clinics state of the art medical and therapeutic facilities. In cooperation with our patients we develop an individual therapy programme which takes into account the patients mental approach, motivation and past experience. We see our patients as guests independent and responsible partners of our medical staff, carers and therapists alike.
The beautiful surroundings of the Tegernsee valley give our patients and those accompanying them and opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and discover this unique landscape. A famous natural spring is nearby and the lakes 5km promenade walk invite to long leisurely strolls.

Your first few days with us
We are happy to inform you about your first few days with us to ease your stay and hasten your recovery at our Fachklinik Bad Wiessee.
Information prior to arrival
You will receive an information pack prior to your arrival in which we set out some important initial information.
Check-In
Upon arrival patients receive all the relevant information regarding their stay at reception in addition to doing all the normal check-in formalities. Our reception staff will be happy to answer any questions patients might have.
Tour of the clinic facilities
Our reception staff will offer you a tour of the building and inform you about the restaurant opening times.
Appointments on the first day
On your first day we will establish your care needs and organise your medical check-in. After that we will compile your personal therapy plan which will guide you through your therapies over the coming days.
Restaurant
During your first meal in the restaurant you will be asked to select your menus for the first few days. There is a choice between three menus and in the evening either a warm meal or a cold food plate. Special dietary needs can then be discussed with a dietician.
Therapy plan, therapy times and ward rounds
You will receive your personal therapy plan on the morning after your arrival. The hours in which therapy is conducted are between 7.30am and 5pm. The ward round is integrated in your plan and will take place in your room.
Activity programme
We should like to make your stay as entertaining and varied as possible and therefore offer a variety of activities in our relaxing public rooms. Information about external and weekly events or activities is posted on the weekly activities calendar or can be obtained from reception.
