At Medical Park Bad Rodach, highly qualified and experienced therapists with different professional backgrounds work together in an interdisciplinary team. This ensures that patient care is assessed, adapted and optimised from a variety of different perspectives.
For example, information provided by the physiotherapists on the mobility of a knee joint after surgery is of as much relevance for working with the therapeutic treadle loom in ergotherapy as it is for training on bicycle ergometers in sports therapy.
If the patient experiences pain during a massage, this again is important information for the other departments. For example, when stroke patients in their locomotion therapy manage to walk a certain distance on the treadmill with weight support, this can help the work of the physiotherapists who practice walking on the level with the patients. We could give many more examples of the close interlinkage of the various treatment forms for the benefit of our patients.
