Sports medicine - confronting challenges
The Medical Park Bad Wiessee St. Hubertus and Medical Park Chiemsee clinics are the official performance diagnostic centres of the Bavarian support organisation for Olympic athletes and the national German Olympic Sports Association. In addition, Medical Park Bad Wiessee St. Hubertus is also the official rehabilitation clinic of the national German Ski Association.
Elite athletes - world champions and Olympic medallists of all winter sports, track and field athletes and motor sport drivers - as well as non-competing sportsmen and women, are all regular guests in our clinics. They include F1 driver Michael Schumacher, world champion and Olympic medallist Lars Riedel, and speed skating world champions Anni Friesinger and Monique Garbrecht-Enfeldt. They came to improve their performance, health and prevention.
Irrespective of whether you have set yourself a training target, or just want to stay fit, we will devise an individual training and nutrition plan in order for you to achieve your personal goal. Naturally we offer the same service to people with excess weight, metabolic disorders and other illnesses.
Sports-induced injuries, often caused by faulty technique, can also be diagnosed in detail and successfully treated with pinpoint therapeutic methods without the need to give up the sport.
