Medical Park Berlin Humboldtmühle
Restaurant Fontane
In our Restaurant Fontane you can let yourself be spoiled right from the first day of your stay at the Medical Park Berlin Humboldtmühle Clinic. In the generously designed restaurant, rich varied buffets and constantly changing menus await your enjoyment. Naturally we take special diets into consideration as well. If required, our dieticians can assist you. Our friendly staff will anticipate and fulfil your every wish.
We have named the restaurant after the writer and pharmacist Theodor Fontane who is regarded as the most significant German exponent of Poetic Realism. The 'first-class pharmacist' fought as a revolutionary in 1848 in the barricade street battles in Berlin and in the following year gave up his career to work exclusively as a freelance writer. He published articles and essays in numerous newspapers. Among his most well-known works are the 'Wanderungen durch die Mark Brandenburg' (Travels through the March of Brandenburg) and in particular the novels 'Der Stechlin' and 'Effi Briest'.
