Our department for psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy treats amongst others the following disorders: depression triggered by a variety of factors, eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa, obesity caused by psychological problems, fear and obsessive-compulsive disorders, chronic pain disorder, headache and back pain, migraine and patients suffering from chronic tinnitus.

Other treatments and disorders that our department focuses on are:
Borderline personality disorder and other personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders, somatoform disorder, hypochondria and conversion disorders, dissociative sexual disorders such as impotence and anorgasmia, psychosomatic disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, Crohns disease and colitis ulcerosa, irritable bowel syndrome, sleep disorders, physical disorders with mental consequences such as those in the psycho-oncological field, dizziness and Ménières disease, as well as psychological and psychosomatic illnesses such as bronchial asthma, neurological and psychological disorders in certain areas.
We only refuse treatment in our department in cases of primary drug addictions such as alcohol and drug dependency, patients who are a threat to themselves or others, acute psychotic disorders and aggravated dementia or organic malfunctions of the brain. The minimum age for any inpatient psychotherapy treatments is 16 years.
