Medical Park Bad Wiessee Am Kirschbaumhügel
Internist Dr. Ira Mayrhofer
Dr Ira Mayrhofer, born in Ulm, studied medicine in Budapest and the Freie Universität Berlin. She subsequently trained in all areas on internal medicine and qualified successfully. Her first position as an internist was at the teaching hospital of the University of Southampton in the UK.
She later moved to a large internist group practice in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It was as early as 1999 that her work in the area of post-acute and rehabilitative medicine brought her into contact with the Medical Park group. She completed her training as a specialist at the Agatharied teaching hospital at Munich University. After qualifying as a specialist internist she undertook further training in the area of cardiology, and in August 2007 took up her post as head of internist-rehabilitative medicine at Medical Park Bad Wiessee Am Kirschbaumhügel. Due to her above-average medical training, Dr Mayrhofer is also able to apply all non-invasive diagnostic methods in all areas of internal medicine, and can intervene immediately in any emergencies.
It is Dr Mayrhofer’s expressed wish to combine the benefits of diagnostics and therapy with care, compassion, patience and sufficient time for the needs of patients and their relatives. She sees her primary duties as understanding and appraising the illness in question, as well as the choice of treatments available and the prevention of ill health.
She therefore represents precisely what our patients at Medical Park Bad Wiessee Am Kirschbaumhügel wish for; namely, optimal medical care combined with professionalism within pleasant surroundings and a beautiful landscape.
