Medical Park Berlin Humboldtmühle
Haus Liebermann
The Haus Liebermann accommodates the Department of Neurology with Senior consultant Professor Dr Stefan Hesse. There are 72 rooms for patients of statutory and private health insurance providers as well as exclusive suites in the so-called Liebermann tower. Furthermore, there is also a ‘clinic within a clinic’ in the Haus Liebermann, the Schlaganfallzentrum Berlin with its own reception.
In the Intensive Care Unit several beds are equipped with respirators, the remaining beds are designed as Intermediate-Care beds (IMC). For the subsequent traditional phases B, C and D of stationary rehabilitation there are various therapeutic treatment rooms in the Schlaganfallzentrum Berlin, a locomotion studio, a therapy dining area and the Snoezelen room.

Max Liebermann
Max Liebermann was one of the most significant exponents of German Impressionism. The Berlin painter and designer worked for a long time in Paris and Munich and founded the Berlin Sezession movement. He created numerous effigies, self-portraits, dune landscapes and garden scenes under the influence of French Impressionism. In 1909 Max Liebermann had a summer house built on Lake Wannsee in Berlin, that he proudly called his ‘palace on the lake’. It was here he found the necessary quiet from the bustle of the city and the decisive motifs for his late work. More than 200 paintings were produced in the garden of nearly 7,000 square metres that was created according to his own ideas.
