Ergotherapy
Ergotherapy has long been an established part of the treatment for many different illnesses, and functions as a link between physiotherapy and career/social rehabilitation. The ergotherapy programme uses existing skills and abilities, whilst taking personal preferences into account, in order to help patients regain their independence as far as practically possible.
One of our core activities is hand rehabilitation. Ever since 1982 our clinic has undertaken inpatient aftercare and subsequent treatments after patients have undergone hand surgery. The aims of hand therapy are: regaining hand motor skills and sensitive functionality, differentiated touch, grip and hold functionality, and the integration of hand and arm into the body scheme.
